Pat and Linda Gelsinger

Pat Gelsinger is the CEO of Intel Corporation since 2021 returning to lead the company’s turnaround after spending 30 years with the company to begin his career. He is working to restore the iconic company to technology leadership and rebuild the semiconductor industry supply chains and manufacturing capacity in the U.S. and Europe. He played a critical role in the passage of the U.S. CHIPS and Science Act and the EU CHIPS Act, seminal pieces of industry policy. He is a technologist having played critical roles in many generations of Intel’s microprocessor and creation of industry technologies such as WiFi and USB. During 2009-2021 he served as CEO of VMware for 8 years, a major software technology provider and as President of EMC for 3 years. He serves as the board chair for Mobileye, the leader in driver assistance technology. He serves as the board chair for Gloo, a leading platform for church engagement. He is the founder and board chair for Transforming the Bay with Christ, driving a City Gospel Movement in the Bay Area of California. He is an IEEE Fellow, member of the National Academy of Engineering and author of several books on both technology and faith. 

Linda Gelsinger is a mother of four and now grandmother of eight. She considers her role as grandma the most important work of her life. She is highly supportive of the assignment they both feel they have taken on leading the Intel turnaround. She serves on the board of Mission of Hope International, serving the most vulnerable children in Kenya and Africa. She is actively engaged in a variety of ministries such as Mobilize Love, serving the least of those in the Bay Area, Foster the City, a foster care program, and Mercy Ships, medical services for Africa.
